Internationally celebrated musicians, Nathan Haines and Jonathan Crayford join forces in a collaborative re-working of the Adagio form – mixing elements of modern improvised electronic music with the compositions of classical composers.

By re-arranging and re-forming works by Stravinsky, Samuel Barber, Bach and more, Crayford (piano/ keyboards) and Haines (woodwinds/ electronics), blur the lines between live performance, theatre and classical and improvised musical forms.

Both prolific recording artists and multiple recipients of New Zealand’s Best Jazz Album of the Year, Haines and Crayford will be accompanied by a trio of violinists, Rachel Wells, Sophie Buxton and Peau Halapula.
